Because we work full time jobs and the kitties on our page are very short on time, if you are emailing to ask about a specific cat in danger, we strongly recommend you go to the shelter in person, especially if the cat is on his/her last day. It is the best way to ensure the cat is safe if you are interested in adopting. The shelter is open daily from 10am-7pm. The shelter phone number is 813-744-5660 and phones are answered M-F, 8am-5pm.

If you are aready to make a serious commitment to a cat scheduled for euthanasia and can personally pick up the cat, email the shelter directly at [email protected] with the words DO NOT EUTH and the Animal ID# in the subject line. Include your full contact information and what time you can pick up the cat. The shelter will not hold cats for out of state adopters, so please don't email and ask.

Please keep in mind that we do not work for the shelter and have no control over shelter policies, including which cats get euthanized and how much time cats are given. Thank you!
